My purpose is for baseball to become more than just a hobby or recreational activity. Baseball is also a great teacher and inspiration as we draw closer to our Lord and Savior, Jesus. Baseball games, standings, and statistics are important to you. I want these noble elements of the national pastime to lead fans toward the treasure that never fades and is always in season!
I have memories of baseball back to my childhood. When I would go on errands with my Dad or on family vacations, baseball would be on the radio. I would also watch televised games at home, and played baseball with neighborhood friends and in the city Park and Rec league. Many of these memories are as happy as they are old. Now I enjoy making baseball fans of my children and grandchildren, even if it’s only from telling them about my own baseball memories!
